Customizing the New Facebook Profile
Since the new facebook profile is out, a creativity-wave broke out in the ocean of Facebook users. People started making their own custom-made-profiles.
Here some design ideas:
You can find more ideas on the Mashable website.
If you want to try it yourself, here is how it works:
Create an image with size of 700px (w) x 500px (h) and slice it with your favorite image editing program such as Photoshop, GIMP, etc.
Or take this readymade Photoshop Template, which was found on the Digital Inspiration Website (Thanks a lot!!!). To use it, simply create a new layer and import your image. The file might need to be adjusted to fit your Facebook profile in case you have more personal information listed above the image squares. After importing your image, export the image using File > Save for Web. All images will be saved in one folder.
The photos can then be uploaded to facebook (using the larger image as your profile picture and the others, which have to be tagged, in a separate folder). Important: You must tag the images from right to left, so the picture shown furthest on the right must be tagged first.
In my case it got a little crooked, but I am sure you can do better!
